ESC SPONSORSHIP

The Edmonton Stamp Club (as a non-profit volunteer organization) welcomes the opportunity of sponsorship with other organizations whether through financial, goods/services, promotions and/or media support.

Furthermore, the Edmonton Stamp Club can provide support in various areas. These may include by way of our website, our Facebook pages as well as through our publications (i.e. ESC Bulletin, published monthly & forwarded to ESC members).

The ESC objective is clearly defined as "promoting the benefits Stamp collecting" and offers a diverse program to fulfill this goal.

EDMONTON STAMP CLUB CHALLENGE

As memberships are primarily in the senior age group, our enrolment has steadily declined leaving "auction sales" inadequate. The facility rental costs are increasing; exhibit frames are in disrepair; and, the ESC volunteer core is at rock bottom.

Additionally, Edmonton Stamp Cub's National Shows are experiencing significant losses financially, especially after a two year hiatus due to Covid-19. Significantly, all of these factors combined, are having a negative impact on our revenue resources.

The prestige previously gained, with Edmonton hosting one of the most successful and well attended shows in Canada, is now in jeopardy and our volunteer support is not able to maintain this status.

WHY SPONSOR/DONATE

The Edmonton stamp club (6).png

Please let me introduce myself. My name is John Bucci, a director of the Edmonton Stamp Club (ESC), and the chairperson of the ESC National Show Committee, 2023. The ESC is a non-profit organization founded in 1912 with the objective of “the promotion of the benefits of stamp collecting”.

As a side note, hockey is my passion and from 1976 to 1983, I held the position of E.M.H.A. administrator, for the City of Edmonton.  Along with minor hockey, I also have volunteered in various clubs/associations.

Edmonton’s hockey history is embedded deeply in the minds of us who love the game. To that end, the Edmonton Stamp Club will be recapturing these memories through multiple exhibits at the ESC Spring National Show 2023.

THEME

Edmonton’s Hockey History Then & Now!!

The ESC is reaching out to local Businesses, Clubs and Associations to partner with us in staging this historical event. We are presently partnering with the Edmonton Food Bank. Since August of 2022, this partnership resulted in over 600 lbs. of non-perishable food for those who need a healthy meal the most.

The ESC Show exhibits will feature real photographs, vintage prints, postcards, pennants, crests, newspaper clippings and documents, as well as other hockey memorabilia (1900’s-2020).

With your permission, the ESC will support your Club, Association or Business by:

  • Featuring your logo on the ESC website; Show Program 2023; and the ESC monthly Bulletin.

  • Featuring a sponsorship post on the ESC Facebook Page.

  • As well, the ESC will acknowledge our appreciation for your sponsorship at the 2023 Show with PSA announcements and “Thank You” signage at the show location.

  • In addition, we will provide the (club name) with an ESC collectable “show cover” (postal envelope) comparable to the prototype illustrated below:

  • (Please provide a clear image of the logo of your choice).
